About Curious Kids Lab
Curious Kids Lab makes short animated science videos for children aged 5 to 9.
Our videos
Each video is a little adventure. Ride a rocket through the five layers of the sky, travel with Droppy the water drop, visit the eight planets, and solve the mystery of day and night.
We use friendly characters, bright pictures and simple words, so that young children can understand big ideas and want to ask more questions.
A note for parents and teachers
The videos are about two minutes long: short enough for a small break, long enough to learn something new.
Every video page lists the chapters and what your child will learn. Use them to pause, ask questions, or prepare a short lesson. Each video also has a free coloring book to print.
For grown-ups: this button opens YouTube in a new tab.
Our privacy promise
This website is made for children, so we keep it simple and safe:
- No ads.
- No tracking scripts. We only count visits anonymously, on our server: day, country, page and language. No cookie, no IP address kept, nothing that could identify a child.
- No accounts, no comment forms, nothing to fill in.
- We do not collect personal data, and this website gives visitors no cookies.
- Fonts and pictures are served from our own website, not from other companies.
The country of a visit is worked out from the IP address, which is then forgotten (IP Geolocation by DB-IP).
About the videos
The videos are hosted on YouTube. The YouTube player is loaded only after you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video plays, YouTube’s own privacy policy applies. Buttons that open YouTube are for grown-ups and are clearly marked.
Hosting
Like every website, our hosting provider may keep short technical logs (such as the IP address and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify or follow anyone.
